Fall dining in the desert? Check out some of the best patios around the Phoenix area

PHOENIX (3TV/CBS 5) -- As temperatures in metro Phoenix get a little cooler, more of us will want to bask in the fresh, and at times, brisk autumn air. So Good Morning Arizona is making a round-up of the best places around the Valley for dining al fresco (that’s an Italian phrase for outdoor dining). The list is being updated daily all this week.

Prime, a Shula’s Steakhouse, is located on the top floor of the Gila River Wild Horse Pass Casino in Chandler and features amazing views of the Valley. Prime has only been open for a few months, but you wouldn’t know it by everything it has to offer including steak with French influences and now, brunch!

Chelsea’s Kitchen

Chelsea’s Kitchen is right off a busy Camelback Road in Phoenix’s Arcadia district. An industrial-style eatery that offers up your traditional American fare in a setting that although can be busy, is also quite relaxing. Chelsea’s Kitchen has a patio that overlooks the Arizona Canal and its menu makes it a “can’t go wrong” option for a business lunch, weekend brunch, or even an early date night.

O.H.S.O. Brewery: Little O’s Arcadia Market

Looking for great food and amazing views of Camelback Mountain? O.H.S.O. Brewery added another patio next door at Little O’s Arcadia Market. Try some of the specialties like tortellini with sun-dried tomatoes, deviled eggs, Vegan beet salad and the Arcadia Pie Pizza! Don’t forget, it is a brewery, and there are plenty of craft beers and cocktails to choose from. Little O’s serves breakfast, lunch and dinner and the patio is dog-friendly.

Joe’s Real BBQ

Joe’s Real BBQ is a family-friendly, laid-back space with food served cafeteria-style for a real hometown feeling in the heart of Gilbert.

Lincoln Steakhouse & Bar

Located at JW Marriott Scottsdale Camelback Inn Resort & Spa, you’ll find all kinds of choices on the menu, obviously including steak, along with seafood, salads and house-made sauces. And don’t miss the views of Camelback Mountain!

Red Allen’s Bar & Grill

Enjoy the outdoors at Red Allen’s Bar & Grill at the Wigwam in Litchfield Park. There, grab a burger or chicken nachos along with one of several options for local craft beers. The patio is right beside the Wigwam’s Blue and Gold golf courses, with views of greens and meadows.
