This Arizona distillery has the best rum in the world

It’s in the water. Gary Ellam says that’s makes Elgin Distillery‘s Reglao de Vida Ron Imperial the best Extra-Aged Rum in the world, according to the 2019 San Francisco World Spirits Competition (SFWSC). It’s also the best Aged-White Spirit.

It’s not just their rum! They received gold medals for El Gin, and Arizona Straight Bourbon Whiskey.

This is the first time Arizona Craft Beverage won Best in Show at SFWSC. It’s the second year in a row their rum was named best in the world. They’ve won numerous awards at competitions across the nation. Last fall, they were finalists in a USA Today competition:
