Game officials warn of mountain lion sightings

Mountain Lion

Officials with the Arizona Game and Fish Department say there have been three reports of mountain lion sightings in the past eight days in the Saddlebrooke area.

The lions have not menaced anyone, but people in the area should be aware of the possibility of coming into contact with wildlife and know what to do in such circumstances.

According to information from the Game and Fish Department, if you see a mountain lion on your property, you should try to scare it away by standing tall, maintaining direct eye contact, waving your arms and yelling.

Call Game and Fish right away at 623-236-7201 to report any mountain lion sighting.
