The Folks from Smashburger shared some great recipes with us.

Smashburger, a fast-casual hamburger restaurant chain, has three locations in Tucson. The namesake smashing technique—smashing involves fresh, never frozen, hand-packed meatball on a hot seasoned grill—results in a delicious burger that stands alone in taste, texture and juiciness.

Eric Wolf, our LOCAL Smashburger franchisee came by the studio today along with chef and General Manager Steven Rodriguez.

Today they cooked up a BBQ Brisket &Cheddar Burger and a Beer Battered Fish Sandwhich:

BBQ Brisket & Cheddar Burger

  • Brioche Bun
  • Certified Angus Beef Burger
  • BBQ sauce
  • Slice of smoked cheddar cheese
  • 3 oz of brisket
  • 3 slices of Applewood smoked bacon.

Beer Battered Fish Sandwich

  • Classic bun
  • Tartar sauce
  • Lettuce
  • Roma tomatoes
  • Slice of cheddar cheese.

They also displayedan oreo shake, reese’s peanut butter shake, and a cobb salad w/grilled chicken.

Remember that you can get any of their Signature recipes with their Fresh/Never Frozen Certified Angus Beef Burgers, All Natural Chicken Breasts, Crispy Fried Chicken, Turkey Burgers, or Black Bean Burgers. They serve only the best CERTIFIED ANGUS BEEF. Only 3 in 10 cattle are able to meet the high standards in order to achieve the CERTIFIED Angus Beef rating. That coupled with their signature Smash is what separates Smashburger from the rest of the pack.
