Looking for a reason to take a Road Trip? Well Tombstone, "The Town Too Tough To Die," is always a great destination, even during the holiday season. Look at these Tombstone Holiday Events for a few more reasons to take the trip:
Tree Lighting Ceremony
The folks in Tombstone are kicking off the holiday season with the Tree Lighting ceremony this Friday, 12/6. Watch them light the tree for the first time this year at the cross-section of Allen and 5th Streets.
The event kicks off at 5:30pm. So, come on down and enjoy hot cocoa and caroling before the lights are lit at 6:30pm.
The tree lighting will be followed by a walk down Allen Street to the City Park with Santa to, “Light Up the Park”!
Annual Tombstone Christmas Ball
It’s a night of dancing and mingling in the Historic Schieffelin Hall. All for a good cause. Period dress is optional, but why not give it a try. Delicious refreshments will be served and a door prize awarded toward the end of a fun filled evening of music and good old fashioned Christmas cheer.
It takes place December 14th from 7pm to 10pm. Tickets are $10/single or $15/couple so invite your sweetheart or bring a friend to this wonderful event! 100% of proceeds will go to help the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Children’s Christmas Fund.
