A great summer gluten-free recipe!
The Gourmet Girls shared with us their recipe for Tuna Salad:
- 4 pita breads
- 1 # albacore tuna chunked and drained
- 3/8 cup mayonnaise
- 3/8 cup finely chopped red onion
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- ¾ cup chopped celery
- 3 t sweet pickle relish
In medium bowl combine all ingredients, mix well. Chill several hours.
Split pita breads, add lettuce and tomato if desired and fill with tuna.
