The Gourmet Girls Show us how to make this great gluten-free waffle
The Gourmet Girls showed us their gluten-free twist on waffles.
Directions for Waffles:
Heat Waffler Iron and fill with your favorite waffle mix.
Add 2 T each pumpkin seeds and chopped bacon and cook according to waffle iron directions.
Spiced Pumpkin Seeds Recipe
- 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- ½ teaspoon ground cumin
- ½ teaspoon chili powder
- ¼ teaspoon chipotle powder
- ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 ½ Tablespoons sugar
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 2 cups pumpkin seeds
Heat the olive oil in a large saute pan over medium heat. Add the remaining ingredients and stir to combine. Add pumpkin seeds, stir to coat. Saute, stirring frequently, until lightly toasted, about 10 minutes. Cool to room temperature.
