Family camp at Triangle Y set for 2 more weekends this summer

Overnight camp isn’t just for kids! Gather your family and have a getaway weekend at the YMCA Triangle Y Ranch.  Founded in 1949, the Triangle Y Ranch is one of the oldest operating and most popular overnight camps in Arizona. Nestled in the foothills of the Catalina Mountains outside of Oracle, Arizona and just 40 miles north of Tucson, the camp has 400 acres within the Coronado National Forest.   The weekend  offers families a unique outdoor experiences that include hiking on nature trails, horseback riding, archery, arts and crafts, and so much more. Parents and children alike will enjoy a sense of adventure and exploration while sharing unforgettable moments that create lasting memories.

They just had their first family camp of the season over Memorial Day and have two more camps scheduled:

  • Summer Family Camp: June 29 – July 1
  • Labor Day Camp: August 31 – Sept 2

Rates start at $200 for a family of four and it includes lodging, food, and activities. You also have the choice of staying in a cabin with other families or in a lodge are just one family per room. Lodges are all heated, and have “home” thickness mattresses with a private bath . Cabins are scattered in many different areas of camp, and are placed in village settings. Clustered cabins share a main building with restrooms and showers. Each cabin has 14 beds, “camp” thickness mattresses, and based on registration, some families may share a cabin with other families. Cabin Rates:
Family of 4: $200
1 Adult & 1 Child: $125
Additional Adult: $60 each
Additional Child: $45 each

Lodge Rates: 
6 Person Room : $385
5 Person Room : $375
4 Person Room : $365
