Dickey’s Barbecue Pit Smoke Stacks Beefy Mac

The crew from Dickey's came by the studio to show us how to make their famous Smoke Stacks Beefy Mac.


  • 1 cup Macaroni and Cheese Prepared (any brand/variety) or


  • ½ cup uncooked Macaroni noodles
  • 2 Tbsp. Butter
  • ¼ cup cheese sauce or cheese powder
  • ¼ cup milk


  • ½ cup chopped brisket cooked (Cooking Brisket Ingredients: 4-6 lbs brisket, ¾ cup mixture of salt, garlic and black pepper.)

Preparation Instructions


  • Rub ¾ cup of an even blend of salt, garlic and black pepper onto your raw brisket.
  • Smoke brisket at 225 degrees for 14 hours. Verify internal temperature of 165 before removing brisket from heating element.

Macaroni & Cheese

  • Prepare macaroni & cheese as directed on a box or


  • Bring 3 cups of water to a boil in a medium sauce pan.
  • Add macaroni and cook for about 6-8 minutes until tender.
  • Drain Macaroni in a colander.
  • Before adding Macaroni back to the sauce pan, melt butter and mix together milk and cheese product.
  • Add macaroni and blend with cheese mixture.


  • Pour Macaroni & Cheese blend onto a plate lined with tin foil.
  • Chop brisket and spread ½ cup of chopped brisket over macaroni and cheese.
  • Serve immediately with or without barbecue sauce/hot sauce to taste.
