Caramel Apple Grapes are the perfect Halloween treat


Halloween is fast approaching and that means costume parties!

For a quick dessert to contribute, consider Taffy Grapes, a popular snack among Chicago fast food restaurants.

The green seedless grapes are dipped in melted caramel or chocolate and then coated in crushed nuts. To take it to the next level, soak the grapes in vodka for an hour before dipping!

With these “mini caramel apples,” you’ll be the talk of the party.


1/2 lb. seedless green grapes
1 c. Caramel
1 c. Chopped peanuts
1 c. caramel vodka (optional)


  1. Soak grapes in caramel vodka and refrigerate 1 hour. (Optional)
  2. Drain grapes and dry.
  3. Poke toothpicks in grapes, then dip in caramel and peanuts.
  4. Transfer to a parchment-lined baking sheet to let set.
  5. Refrigerate or serve.
