Brooke’s Bargain Bean Dip

Brooke Wagner shows us how to make this delicious Super Bowl staple on a budget


  • 2 cans refried beans ( can be low-fat, vegetarian, or whatever)
  • 12  onces Velveeta cheese
  • 1 jar chunky salsa – we used Angelica’s Salsa Recipe
  • 3 dashes Tabasco sauce or any hot sauce


Begin heating refried beans in a saucepan

Cut Velveeta into cubes and add to beans.

Heat until cheese is melted

Stir in Salsa and as much hot sauce as you like

Serve with chips, a cold beer, and the Super Bowl.
