PHOENIX (AZFamily) — If you’re looking for delicious restaurants to add to your places to visit this year, look no further than some favorite Arizona eateries.
Yelp released its "Top 100 US Restaurants 2026″ list, and four mouthwatering Arizona restaurants made the list! The highest-reviewed restaurants, diners, fast-casual spots, food halls and more were ranked by the Yelp community.
Tumerico in Tucson made the list at No. 32, a restaurant known for its fresh, vegan-vegetarian twist on traditional Latin American cuisine. The plant-based eatery has been a popular spot among visitors and locals, and was named Yelp’s top restaurant in 2024. It has even garnered the attention of celebrities, with owner Chef Wendy Garcia being featured on the Kelly Clarkson Show!

The restaurant primarily uses jackfruit in place of meat and operates from a scratch kitchen, meaning the menu changes daily. This gives customers the chance to try something new each time they enter. Tumerico is located near 6th Street and Tucson Boulevard.
De Babel in Scottsdale trailed right behind Tumerico, taking the No. 33 spot. Serving up authentic halal Middle Eastern and Mediterranean dishes, customers can choose from delicious classic sandwiches like beef & lamb gyro and falafel, or even lamb tikka, chicken shawarma for the main entree.

Don’t forget to finish off your meal with a sweet treat, like baklava or tahini ice cream. The restaurant is located near Pima Road and Raintree Drive.
Heading back to Phoenix, Corazón de Agave claimed the No. 41 spot on the list. Guests can try rich Mexican classics like tacos de carne asada, tacos de pastor, flautas, enchiladas or opt for birria soup or pozole. Choose from any of their delicious cocktails to pair with your meal, like a margarita, mojito or mezcalina. The restaurant is located at 40th Street and Bell Road.

The last Arizona restaurant claiming a spot on the list is Taco Viva, coming in at No. 52. Try their featured items — tacos asada, taco pastor or taco pollo asado. Or try a mula asada, a flame-grilled steak topped with onion, cilantro, guacamole, salsa fresca and melted cheese on top of a tortilla. Guests can visit the restaurant near 28th Street and Indian School Road.
