PHOENIX (AZFamily) — One of rap’s biggest stars is hitting the road this summer and making a stop in the Valley after a years-long hiatus.
Rapper A$AP Rocky announced his “Don’t Be Dumb World Tour,” which will kick off on May 27. The rap star will be performing at Mortgage Matchup Center in downtown Phoenix on June 23.
A$AP Rocky’s fourth studio album “Don’t Be Dumb” is his first project in eight years, with the album cover art designed by critically-acclaimed director Tim Burton. The rapper is best known for hits like “Fashion Killa,” “Purple Swag” and “Praise The Lord,” and has collaborated with fellow rappers Drake, Kendrick Lamar and more.
The tour will make its first stop in Chicago and head to Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Toronto, Phoenix, Los Angeles and others before ending in Newark. The European leg of the tour includes cities such as Brussels, Amsterdam, Dublin, Manchester and Milan, with the grand finale in Paris.
To participate in presale tickets for the North American leg of the tour, guests must sign up at livemu.sc/asaprocky by Wednesday, Jan. 21 at 8 p.m. MST. Presale tickets will go live on Friday, Jan. 23 at 10 a.m. local time.
