PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Phoenix’s largest airline is adding three new major destinations with daily service beginning this fall.
American Airlines said this week it’s launching nonstop service to three popular fall and winter destinations: Sun Valley, Idaho; Santa Maria, California; and Fort Myers, Florida. Tickets can be purchased starting June 30.
“Adding three new destinations to the most robust network of any U.S. carrier from Phoenix continues to solidify our position as the Valley’s largest airline with the most nonstop service to the places our customers want to visit,” said Sophia Philis-Ortiz, the airline’s vice president of Phoenix operations. “While summer travel is in full swing, there’s no better time to think about a special winter getaway to ski the slopes of Sun Valley, taste wine in Santa Maria, or enjoy the beaches of Fort Myers.”
According to American Airlines, Sun Valley and Santa Maria are new destinations within the airline’s global networks, and Phoenix will be among the first to enjoy the new service.
