PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Mark your calendars! The Vrbo Fiesta Bowl Parade is on a new date for the college football playoffs.
The 53rd annual Vrbo Fiesta Bowl Parade presented by Lerner & Rowe will be held on Saturday, Jan. 3, 2026, about a week later than usual.
The historic parade is a 1.5-mile walk through central Phoenix during bowl season. It drums up excitement for the Fiesta Bowl, which will take place on Jan. 8, 2026.
More than 3,000 participants, including men, women, children and animals, walk in the parade each year. The free event features large balloons, parade floats, music, friendly animals and community groups. This year’s parade Grand Marshal will be announced at a later date.
Community groups interested in participating in the parade can apply here. The application for marching bands is available here. All entries must be submitted by Friday, Sept. 12, 2025, at 11:59 p.m.

The 2026 Vrbo Fiesta Bowl Parade will be broadcast live on Arizona’s Family 3TV, Arizona’s Family Sports Network and digital platforms.
