‘The Weeknd’ to kick off worldwide tour in Arizona

New concerts announced in Phoenix-area Country star Lainey Wilson is performing in August, and pop sensation 'The Weeknd' is coming to Glendale in May! (azfamily)

GLENDALE, AZ (AZFamily) — The Weeknd will kickoff his massive world tour to the Valley of the Sun this spring.

The global superstar will be kicking off his “After Hours Til Dawn” tour at State Farm Stadium in Glendale on May 9. The tour comes at the heels of his highly anticipated new album, “Hurry Up Tomorrow” — marking the final chapter in his album trilogy, following “After Hours” and “Dawn FM.”

The tour will make stops in Chicago, Denver, Miami, Nashville, Philadelphia and back-to-back nights in Los Angeles before ending at the Alamodome in San Antonio.

Rapper Playboi Carti and producer Mike Dean will will join the tour as one of the opening acts.

“Hurry Up Tomorrow” will also be a feature film based on the new album, starring The Weeknd alongside Jenna Ortega and Barry Keoghan. It’s set to be released in theatres on May 16.

Fans can sign up for the artist presale HERE now until Tuesday, Feb. 4 at 9 a.m. Artist presale will begin Feb. 5 at 10 a.m. and run until Feb. 6 at 9 a.m.
