TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - Last year, Old Tucson promised a Nightfall like no other – the most actors they’ve ever hired, tons of redesigns and even more attractions.
But the question now is ... will they try to top that this year?
“Our entire team here at Old Tucson have worked tirelessly over the summer to make sure that we put together a Nightfall that is more ambitious and bigger than the previous year,” Old Tucson Marketing Manager Natalie Eleftheriadis said.
Last year, Nightfall said guest feedback asked for more scares, and this year, they said the same.
“People just want more,” Old Tucson General Manager Tony Sanders said. “They want more immersive experiences so we saw a rise in everything last year so that meant we had to match it this year.”

This year, they’re making scares with a demon queen.
In 2023, they were up both in revenue and attendance compared to the year prior after adding in more. So, they’re now adding two extra haunted attractions, a new mini golf course, a restaurant and ...
“In 2024, back by popular demand, free parking,” Sanders said.
Old Tucson said to continue the tradition the right way, they must stay connected to the past while adding more to the future.
“So many people came here when they were much younger and they were scared and now they’re back and we’re scaring them even more,” Sanders said. “I think it’s just this connection to Tucson and the community.”
