Phoenix Fan Fusion kicks off at convention center; here’s everything you need to know

Experience 3 days of Superheroes, Sci-Fi, Comics, Anime, and Gaming at Phoenix’s largest convention

PHOENIX (AZFamily) — It’s one of the biggest events in the Valley every year, where fans have a chance to meet their favorite actors, authors, comic book artists and more! Phoenix Fan Fusion kicks off this weekend filled with plenty of big-name actors, panels and activities perfect for any fan.

Here’s your full guide on all things Fan Fusion.

What are the hours of the convention?

Phoenix Fan Fusion will run from Friday through Sunday.

Lower Level Exhibit and Hall of Heroes will be open on Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Programming events and activities, including panels, signings, the Gaming Hall, and after-dark activities will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Where are the events located?

There are four floors of Fan Fusion fun! Your badge provides you with in-and-out access throughout the weekend or for the specific day you buy.

  • LOWER LEVEL - Exhibit Halls 1-6 are located in the lower level, where you’ll find over 600+ vendors, artists, creators, dealers, publishers, along with celebrity actors, comic book creators, authors, cosplay guests and more.
  • NORTH AND WEST BUILDING FIRST AND SECOND FLOOR - This will feature events, activities, panels, and workshops. Every hour, a few dozen events will be taking place at one time.
  • GAMING HALL - Ballroom 120BCD is Fan Fusion’s expanded Gaming Hall with tabletop, boardgame, console, and e-gaming all weekend long.
  • CELEBRITY PANEL - Join celebrity actors for their panel and Q&A, which are included in your badge purchase without any additional cost. Most of these panels take place in Ballroom 301 on the third floor of the West Building.

How can I get to Fan Fusion?

Fans can prepay for parking to beat the traffic! Use ACE parking to find garages or park in the Jefferson Street garage.

For those opting out of driving and parking in downtown Phoenix, you can take the Valley Metro light rail to the Phoenix Convention Center. The light rail station closest to Phoenix Fan Fusion is the 3rd St/Washington stop, but depending on crowd size, riders may be asked to use the Washington/Central Ave stop. If you are using Uber or Lyft, use the address 33 S. 3rd St., Phoenix, AZ 85004. This will allow fans to be dropped off in front of the South building entrance.

How much are memberships?

Adult full-event memberships begin at $89 for a single person. Single tickets for each day range from $39 to $59, depending on the day you choose. VIP passes begin at $495 per person.

Children ages 0-12 are FREE throughout the whole weekend.

What celebrities will be there?

There will be plenty of celebs to meet and get autographs from this year!! Among the most popular is Dick Van Dyke, Simu Liu, Giancarlo Esposito, Paul Sun-Hyung Lee, Michael Rooker and more!

For book lovers, authors Veronica Roth, Tracy Wolff, Sarah Beth Durst, Robert Jackson Bennett and more will be featured.
