Heading to Country Thunder this weekend? Here’s what you need to know

FLORENCE, AZ (AZFamily) — It’s the biggest country music festival in Arizona, and it’s back with a star-studded lineup this year! Country Thunder kicks off on Thursday with plenty of your favorite country artists and some up-and-coming stars. Put on your boots and your cowboy hat; here’s everything you need to know before heading down to Florence.


How can I buy tickets?

General admission tickets are still available for the full event, Thursday through Sunday. General admission gives fans access to all stages and performances with lawn-style seating. Don’t forget to bring a chair or blanket. Kids 10 and under are free with the purchase of an adult ticket. Tickets for Weekend GA start at $300.

If you wish to go only one day instead of the weekend, tickets are still available. Tickets for single-day admission begin at $175.

Fans can purchase platinum experience tickets, which give exclusive access to the Skybox and viewing areas. Fans will also be treated to a full-service bar and dedicated festival entrance. Tickets start at $300 for single days only or $600 for the entire weekend.

Is camping still available?

How much is parking?

Single-day parking passes begin at $25. Weekend parking for the full event begins at $60.

For those dropping off campers, passes begin at $20. Those not attending the festival can purchase this option to gain access to campgrounds.

If you choose to leave your car overnight, passes are available beginning at $80. Those purchasing this option can use overflow parking. Extra vehicle parking also begins at $80.

Important Note: If you are opting out of parking overnight, your vehicle must be removed by 2:30 a.m. each day.


Are there rideshare or shuttle options?

Good news — you can get to Country Thunder safely with various transportation options. Uber and Lyft are available in Florence, Arizona. Officials are encouraging people to pre-book rides to guarantee driver availability.

Country Thunder has partnered with Stagecoach Express Shuttle, which offers shuttles from Mesa and Apache Junction. The full schedule and details can be found here.


Other important things to know

One note for fans: you can now download the new Country Thunder app! Download it to access your tickets, order drinks, view the schedule, and more. It’s available on Apple and Android devices.

Another detail for fans: keep track of your wristbands. Wristbands will not be replaced and you will have to purchase a new one for the price of admission. NO EXCEPTIONS.

If you tighten your wristband too much, Country Thunder offers removal and replacement services for $20 at will-call booths. You must wear your wristband all weekend.

If you have a smelly situation at your campgrounds this weekend, you can contact Septic Service at Country Thunder Arizona for a port-a-potty. Call United Site Services at 702-281-505. Public restrooms will be available as well.
