This new Netflix show is reviving your childhood toys

Slobby Robby and his shop, Generation Cool, star in a binge-worthy TV Show about 80's and 90's memorabilia

Tucson’s favorite blast from the past is now reaching a larger audience. Robert Hall, also known as Slobby Robby, is the charismatic owner of the popular Fourth Avenue store Generation Cool.  Collecting and selling vintage items from the 1980’s and 90’s, he’s now earned his own show on Netflix titled “Slobby’s World” which premiered on the streaming service this week.

The show follows him and his staff as they search for and evaluate unique clothing, toys and collectibles from across the country. Robby got his start collecting for himself and then started collecting and selling to his friends. He then opened up a pop-up shop at Hotel Congress under the same name. It was such a success that he eventually opened up the location on 4th Ave. in 2013. Things have obviously grown from there.

Here’s a trailer for Slobby’s World:

You can stream the show here.

You have to experience Generation Cool for yourself, they’re located at 404 N 4th Ave. Slobby Robby also owns Zillionare Tucson, located in the Tucson mall, which primarily focuses on shoes and the shoe culture.
