Pizza Hut announces the return of the P’Zone.
Seventeen years after its debut, the fan favorite item is back on menus nationwide to celebrate Pizza Hut’s return as the Official Pizza of NCAA March Madness, according to a release.
It’s a toasted parmesan pizza crust filled with pizza toppings and melted cheese, baked calzone-style, and served with marinara dipping sauce.
Sounds so good, right? If you’ve tried it, then you already know what we’re talking about.
There are three choices: Pepperoni, Supremo, and Meaty. The Supremo is made with Italian sausage, green pepper, red onion, and melted cheese. The Meaty P’Zone is stuffed with pepperoni, ham, beef, pork, and Italian sausage.
“We are excited to bring back the P’Zone as part of our $5 Lineup during a time when family and friends will be gathering in anticipation and excitement,” said Marianne Radley, chief brand officer at Pizza Hut.
Before the big return announcement, Pizza Hut teased fans on social media. The restaurant chain tweeted, “Here’s a mystery for all you internet detectives,” with a photo of a red curtains paired with the words: “A Legend Returns.”

Now that the secret is out, fans can gather their coins and take a trip to the nearest Pizza Hut. It’s still unclear, though, why the item was taken off the menu in the first place.
If you’re counting calories, you might want to hold off for a day. The Pepperoni P’Zone packs on about 930 calories, 940 calories for the Supremo and 1100 calories for the Meaty kind.
But – shhh! We won’t tell if you don’t. The diet can rest for a day, or two!
Each P’Zone costs about $6 and are back in restaurants nationwide. Grab one while you can. It’s unclear how long the item will last on the menu this time.
