Peach season is here! Yes, it’s even here is Southern Arizona. Or is it just peach cobbler season? Either way, you can head down to Wilcox and stop by Apple Annie’s Orchard starting this Thursday. Peaches are $1.79 a pound if pick them.
They announced that the peaches were ready to be picked on Monday:
The wait is almost over. We will be opening for peach picking this Thursday, July 11!
If you can hold off picking peaches until next weekend, Peach Mania, their 19th annual festival kicks off. One of the highlights is their delicious “All You Can Eat” Peaches & Pancakes breakfast served from 7:30-10:30am each Saturday and Sunday at their Orchard Grill, located on their property.
Other activities include:
- Free wagon ride to the orchards.
- Free samples of peaches and peach products.
- You can enjoy a slice of homemade peach pie or a bowl of homemade peach ice cream.
- Apple-smoked burger lunches will be served daily from 11:30 AM – 3:00 PM at their Orchard Grill.
The dates for Peach Mania are:July 20, 21, 27, 28 and August 3,4, 10, 11, 17 & 18.
The Fruit Orchard is located at 2081 W Hardy Rd. in Wilcox
Orchard hours are 8am – 5pm.
If you’re looking for other produce, you can head down the road to their Produce Farm location. Every weekend in July, the produce farm is throwing a Sweet Corn Extravaganza. While you can’t pick sweet corn, you can purchase it there . There are other vegetables that you can pick or purchase on site.
The produce farm is located at 6405 W Williams Rd. in Wilcox.
Produce Farm Hours are 7am – 5pm.
